The Stable is a tag team comprised of Gary the G.O.A.T and Bench Horse, formed after Bench Horse crashed Gary's birthday, forcing Gary to be his best friend for a year after beating him in a match. Tired of Bench Horse's extremely non-friendlike behavior, Gary would dissolve the tag team after they lost a 4 way tag team match for the Best Friends Forever Tag Team Championship (WormQuest) determined to defeat Bench Horse which he would do at Necroslam. Bench Horse would later appear to saw off Gary's horn after his defeat by Simon Maul (Ghost Mall) only to turn on the Mall God. With both having suffered misfortunes, The Stable would be reformed at Bench Horse's behest, to "watch each other's backs."
